Gwamnatin jihar jigawa ta kammala shirye shiryen daukar malamai dubu biyu (2,000) aiki a wani mataki na farfado da bangaren ilmi, Gwamnan jihar Jigawa Alhaji Muhammad Badaru Abubakar ya sanar da hakan a lokacin babban taron wakilan kungiyar malamai karo na shida da aka gudanar a Kazaure.
HOS All is now set for the recruitment of two thousand teachers by the Jigawa state government as part of effort to revitalize the education sector in the state. Governor Muhammad Badaru Abubakar made this known in a message to the 6th quadrennial state delegates’ conference of the Nigeria Union of Teachers held in Kazaure.
The Governor who was represented by the state Head of Service, Alhaji Muhammad Inuwa Tahir, said government has allocated thirty two percent of this year`s budget to education. He reiterated government`s commitment to revamp education sector.
On his part the outgoing chairman of the Nigeria Union of Teachers, Comrade Usman Ya`u Dutse commended teachers in the state for the support and cooperation given to him during his tenure. Announcing the result the chief returning officer of the election, Dr.Nnnena Okonkwo said Abdulkadir Yunusa emerged chairman, Dauda Sha`aibu deputy chairman, Bashari Abdullahi 1st vice-chairman, while Aliyu Shehu Limawa was elected 2nd vice-chairman.
Others include Alhassan Madaki treasurer, Haruna Abdu Publicly secretary and Yahaya Abdu social secretary. COV/SU/MAG/BS
